Finn joins us this Friday night in Brighton from Barcelona. Deep House and Disco are both on the menu for this one.

Finn has been spinning his unique blend of deep, syncopated house for getting on 18years, never for the kudos, only ever for the love of the music. From the now mythical free-parties in the UK to the beaches of Barcelona, from below the Golden Gate to the shores of Yucatan and all points between looking for and usually finding the right vibe.
After swapping in '95 the charms of Bristol for San Francisco in 1996 he founded seminal deephouse label imperial Dub recordings with the mighty Dubtribe Sound System and Corey Black, touring Europe, North America and Mexico. Since 2004 he has been an integral part of Barcelona's house scene. For the last two years he has been producing again as The Groovers with Steve Ferrand

Black Lodge needs no introduction from us, he's gaining quite a rep on the disco scene both here and overseas, mainly due to his somewhat prolific output of originals, remixes and edits - he's been released on some great labels now, including Under the shade, dikso, traveller and featured on Future Balearica comp. Lloyd & Fazz have been putting on some sterling nights in Southampton for the past 6 years and recently had their debut release on cult label Disco Deviance. I have been a fan of their mixes and their bookings have always been flawless, so it made sense to get them along to play for us in Brighton.

Seem to be afew licensing issues in UK so couldn't download from Juno etc... snagged a copy via Amazon but it was DRM restricted so won't play in Traktor! Bit of a pain but fine to burn to cd, and there is a 12" out there on good old vinyl too.

Based loosely on the Ron Hardy sound track of early Chicago house, we try to play some classics alongside some brand new cuts from local talent. We also have an A1 percussionist in the house to really liven things up.
