Duff Disco, Alphabet City, Lowlife's very own Matthew Burgess will all be joining Pablo Contraband & Neil Brown for the night.

Promises to be a bit special, the dinkiest little venue with a tip top sound system and a plethora of able selectors providing the tunes... all we need now is YOU on the dancefloor.

November News

Well November is here, the clocks went back and another year seems to be flying by, the earth is increasing in it's velocity I'm sure of it!

Mr. Weatherall certainly did the business on Friday night, amazing selection of obscure gems, a unique sound from one of my favourite characters. Big thanks to all of you that made it along, really made my night no doubt Andrew will be back in 2012.

A recording was made on the night and part one is Pablo Contraband's opening set. Listen Here Weatherall's set will follow shortly.

Pablo celebrates his birthday with a proper disco and boogie night with two of the scenes biggest names on the same line up. Grab your tickets soon as it does usually get pretty busy whenm Greg Wilson is in town! There are a handful of £7 tickets left on R$N.

The Tube has started its new Saturday series really well with Wolf Music & Schtumm both delivering a couple of brilliant parties on the Seafront. We hope to continue in the same vein and have put a great line up together for our launch night there. The venue is altogether better than it used to be with a nicer look, sound and feel. Hope to see loads of you there. Hit me up for £4 guest list.

That is it for 2011 from us. With the exception of our Secret NYE party. It is another guest list only affair for friends & their friends only and we will announce the venue on the week of the party via email. It is in central Brighton and we have chosen a very nice venue to see in the beginning of 2012. We will of course install a superb soundsystem and the DJ's are all booked. Matthew Burgess & Pablo Contraband @ Disco Deviant Feb 26th

Here's the recording of the warm up set for Greg Wilson. We played  all manner of disco, italo, classic and nu plus some big edits and acidy tracks. First time we have played together dropping a couple each for an hour or so before Pablo took the final 20 mins ending on The Rhythm - Henry Greenwood edit.

First Video from Greg Wilson & Co at Audio on Friday night

Had a chance to recover and sort some bits out this morning, got to say thanks to everyone who came for making Friday such a great night. Brilliant atmosphere and a lot of fun. Loads of new faces and some very good music.

I have some great footage and some audio from Friday night that I'd like to share with you all, I'm going to post a video or a mix each day this week, hopefully be able to do something with the sound on the video clips this week as it's got a lot of bass distortion... we'll see if I can work that out.

I've spoken to Greg he had a blast and commented on how good the atmosphere was and how friendly and receptive the crowd were. I know he loves coming to Brighton, but this stood out. He had to play with CD's due to a problem with his laptop so we were treated to a bit of an exclusive there. He's going to send me an hour recorded from his set later in the week so keep an eye out for that.

Brighton DD Exclusive date: Greg Wilson Friday February 25th, Audio

Disco Deviant bring Greg Wilson back to Brighton for what promises to be another great night. Greg Wilson needs little in the way of introduction and has been a firm favorite of ours having provided the sound track at a few almost legendary nights for us here in Brighton. 2010 has probably been one of his most successful years to date both as a DJ and remixer alike. Pablo Contraband has honed his sound over the years and seems to have nailed down delivering an exciting mix of new tracks alongside some classic sounds from house to soul, funk and disco. Always interesting. Also added to the line up is Matthew Burgess (Lowlife), he's played a massive part in the Lowlife parties over the years and was a favourite at Vintage and Electric Elephant this year too. Happy New Year, hope you all had a good time on NYE.

Last month's guest at Disco Deviant was none other than Matthew Burgess, he played a great couple of hours for us in December.

Here's part 1 of that set, I've had it on a lot since, a great selection including Pointer Sisters, Dr Hook, Firefly and what sounds like a demo of FGTH - Relax plus lot's of other classic tracks. I'm pleased to say Matthew will now be playing with myself & Greg Wilson on Feb 25th @ Audio. There are some £5 early bird tickets available from RA LINK after that they are £7 each.
