I recorded this last Saturday at The Waterhouse in Brighton, a rather swanky new cocktail bar and party space at the Hilton Metropole where I now hold a residency. It's pretty cool and is slowly gaining momentum. They install a nice little Mackie rig for Friday and Saturday nights and have an excellent music policy in place as well as exceptional taste evident in the interior design and the fact they are booking myself and Rich to play there regularly!

Quick heads up re: our final secret rooftop party of the summer on Bank Holiday Sunday 26th Aug. Cosmic Boogie is booked to play his last DJ set ever for us! Really looking forward to a proper party to make the most of the last Bank Holiday weekend.

As ever the venue is kept under wraps until the weekend of the event so you'll need a ticket to get the venue details.

Secret do part two! Special guest Ethyl

The second installment of this season's roof terrace parties... As promised, we're really ramping things up this year and it gives us great pleasure to announce that we have a very special guest headlining our second party of 2012: Ethyl (Freerange / Secretsundaze / Saints & Sonnets)

Ethyl is a name that we've had our eye on for some time now, and it was only a matter of time before we snapped him up for a Brighton Debut. Ethyl (aka Tim Hopgood) has been making serious waves on the deep house scene of late, since his debut EP on Jimpster's Freerange imprint in 2009, with production partner, Flori. More recently Ethyl has releases on Huxley's new label, Saints & Sonnets, plus a superb remix on Brighton's own Black Key Records. Listen here:

DD News March 2012

Well it's been a little while since the last newsletter, Spring is here and WOW! we have some news for you.

We've been busy plotting and planning some parties and line ups and I must admit I'm impressed. So I've listed everything nice and neatly at the bottom of the post for you. I'm not gonna go on about it all for too long but DJ Garth and Adam Freeland playing together cosmic, deep and disco all night long. Rare that DJ Garth is in the UK so we've nabbed him for the night of Friday May 4th and we're taking it to The Loft. Tickets will be in the shops soon - Rounder & Resident

A Love from Outer Space visits for a Brighton edition on Friday April 20th. The Chairman will be in charge along with Brother Johnston and Pablo Contraband . The ALFOS tour has been going great guns with mad reviews and Mr Weatherall is currently putting an compilation album & mix together for Ministry of Sound's 'Masters' series which will showcase the ALFOS sound in full effect. Tickets are going well all the early birds went pretty quick GRAB yours from R$N or from Rounder/Resident I expect this will be a busy one.

OK so also in the offing are the Summer Secret Rooftop parties with special guests booked including the brilliant Kid Who in May and Ethyl in June. Guest list only for these and the location is kept under wraps til the last moment. Friends and their friends only no messing.
