Cosmic Boogie & Big in Japan present Todd Terje at Queen Of Hoxton

Todd Terje has been a fairly constant source of inspiration for many on the ‘nu disco’ scene. He has a fairly prolific work rate, with some excellent edits still a staple in many a DJ’s sets. Recently he put out some long awaited original material on Running Back which has been supported by literally everyone. Ragysh is being played at most parties I attend at the moment and it’s featured in mixes and charts everywhere since it’s release in April.
High time he was booked for some DJ appearances in the UK. It’s a big night for The Unity Agency Roster with 5 of our roster also on the line up. Promises to be an epic night.

With a penchant for dramatics the BIJ crew will be introducing some added production to the venue to immerse the guests in what is sure to be yet another fine shake down.

I have to give a quick plug to some of my favourite DJ's and producers once in a while and this morning it's quite right I should Rayko, Cosmic Boogie, Andy Ash, all feature in the Juno Top 10 twice along with Deep Space Orchestra, Neil Diablo and Gazeebo also in there.

It's great to see them all doing so well with consistently high quality tracks and remixes it's no surprise really.

New label alert - Boogie Originals

From the people that brought you Cosmic Boogie, a new label is in the wings awaiting it's debut release on vinyl only. A 3 track EP from the North of England, Stu Robinson (Cosmic Boogie, Andy Ash & Neil Scott (El Diablo's) all contribute to what promises to be a fine release.

Here's the first one I heard from the EP 'Fast & Loose' - Cosmic Boogie. He's nailed it here, nice mid tempo house / post disco sound with the expert use of a vocal hook that appeared on another seminal release in 2010.

Getting off to a flying start in 2010, Disco Deviant has secured a solid line up for the new monthly session Above Audio, Brighton. Last Friday of every month, Pablo Contraband is joined by a guest and we're in for a treat.
